ZEG chooses ESB Connectivity for the most innovative e-Bikes
Cologne, Germany – August, 2017 – Few days just passed since the end of ZEG show, the important business event dedicated to 960 associated independent bicycle retailers, external brands and component manufacturers. During this opportunity to present state-of-the-art models that will set new bike trends, ESB participated as the main provider of connectivity for e-bikes.
In the forefront of IoT solutions, ESB technology integrates vehicles in depth with mobile and cloud-computing by using custom-designed electronics embedded with GPS/GPRS and has been chosen by the most innovative e-bike brands such as Bulls, Kettler, Rotwild, Hercules and Pegasus, where ESB has also designed a customized brand experience version, as presented by Bulls e-bikes at the following link.
“This success came to birth thanks to the strong collaboration between ZEG and SITAEL as well as to the latest ESB evolution” says Kolja Oppel, ZEG Innovation Manager “we are very happy to team up with SITAEL that has the capabilities and the strength to keep up evolving connected e-bikes in the future with us”.
In a new project collaboration with ZEG and the bike component leaders Shimano and BMZ, ESB has created an advanced solution that offers innovative features to the end-users and, at the same time, guarantees bike security as well as an enhanced riding experience.
Moreover, this year has been particularly hard working for the novelties ESB will present at the next edition of Eurobike Show. In addition to the new app features, such as navigator and controller integration, ESB has developed the MAT (Magnetic Assisted Tap), a smart docking station and smartphone holder, and an innovative locking system for e-bikes that will be available for demonstration at the ESB booth A6-210 during Eurobike Show 2017 (Friedrichshafen, Germany, August 30th – September 2nd).
