FOUND STOLEN E-BIKE IN VIENNA THANKS TO ESB TECHNOLOGY
August 25, Vienna (Austria) – “Another stolen bike. Can you track it down?” was the message that ESB team received from the owner of a Yoom Connected eBike, the CEO of Vienna archdiocese’s Caritas. Thanks to the anti-theft functionality enabled on his smartphone, he received an immediate alert message via app when the bike was displaced form its original position. ESB managed to track the GPS signal and communicated the coordinates to the Austrian Police, who found the e-bike together with a van of stolen goods and took the thief into custody.
“Only with the help of the tracking service we had been able to get on track of the stolen bike.” claimed the Caritas Wien CEO.
